Join Us for the 3rd Edition of HackByte – Break the Red Tape 🎗

HackByte, IIIT Jabalpur’s annual flagship hackathon, is back and bigger than ever. From April 4 to April 6, 2025, we’re bringing together developers, designers, and innovators for 36 hours of non-stop creativity, learning, and collaboration.

This year’s theme, “Break the Red Tape,” is inspired by Aaron Swartz and the movement to free information. It symbolizes the need for free and fair access to information for everyone. The theme encourages participants to see past bureaucracy and work on projects that promote free speech and information access. For example, you could build an application that simplifies filing an RTI. We hope this unique theme will inspire participants to come up with creative and impactful ideas.

Beyond coding, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, gain insights from mentors, and network with fellow developers. If you thrive on building, innovating, and making a difference, this is the hackathon for you!
